When the young dog suddenly limps – OCD of the shoulder

Diagnosis: OCD of the shoulder – A case report from practice

My latest article in My Heart Barking #19 on OCD of the shoulder, is about a story from my everyday practice. What happened to Daisy and her family is not that rare. And usually first pulls the rug out from under the dog owners. Because that such a young dog already a disease of the musculoskeletal system, of course, first no one expects.

But in the case of Daisy it was unfortunately so

It all starts during a relaxing walk with Daisy, who was having a fun romp with her canine buddy. But suddenly she starts limping with her left front leg. Yet she is still a young dog of just seven months and up until this moment she was squeaky clean.

What OCD of the shoulder means for a young dog,if it can be avoided, how to recognize and treat it – and also how Daisy fared, you can read in my article in issue #19 of Mein Herz bellt, the magazine for the interested dog lover.
